Pogonomyrmex sp. or Lasius pogonogynus? Please spell out entire genus/species names (especially in the thread title). Not everyone is familiar with local abbreviations and may not know what you're...

I was using a wash bottle that I cut the tip off of. I'd squeeze it and then let go to suck the ants up.  Mean little women. Not pleased that I was there at all. The colony is now spread over 30 yards...

  Those ants don't look like Pogonomyrmex to me. They look more like Formica or something.

They look like Pogonomyrmex Bicolor to me. The picture is kind of dark but they do look like them to me.

They look like ants that belong to Formicinae subfamily, their waist have one segment and not two. Can we have close up shots of one ant, please, I think dspDrew is right about this.
